Scuba diving + a question to ponder
May 7th, 2009
I am off this week for a great two week vacation, which includes a week in Bali to catch up with the family. While here, I plan to knock off goal 81, which is to go scuba diving.
In the meantime, I will decide if I have already knocked off goal 172, which is to form and play in a basketball team.
Reason for having to decide is that I have just formed and started playing in a football (soccer) team. The point of the goal was to form a sporting team, and basketball seemed as good a sport as any to nominate. But everyone over in the UK plays/is obsessed by football instead.
But should my forming of a football team count? Feel free to comment.

Only if the ‘football’ team also plays basketball

I’d say dont let it count…. if you had of put ‘form a sporting team’ then that’d be cool…. but ya put basketball team. It’s pretty easy to form one, and you wont be in England til you’re 30 most likely…. Basketball is great fun, and i’d feel like i cheated personally. Just my opinion

This indeed should be counted as a completed goal ! Your list of goals must grow with you over time & evolve. Yes the point of noting your goals is to ensure you have a achieveable list but your not locked into it. After all it’s your list and your not letting anyone down – best of luck with all future goals.

it doesn’t count. you made the goals, so you should stick to them.

thanks all for your input – final decision is that it will not count, so the goal to create a basketball team is still outstanding.
